Nokia Lumia Windows Phone Line-up Lunched In India

Finally the good news come from India - the Nokia Lumia line of Windows Phones have arrived in the country! The company has announced the availability of its Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 Windows Phones at a press event held in New Delhi recently.

From now on, the Lumia 920 and 820 will be available from select local retailers for Rs. 38,199 (about $700 US) and Rs. 27,559 (about $505 US) respectively. As for the colors, the Lumia 920 will be offered in black, red, yellow and white alternatives, with the Lumia 820 being available in red, yellow, white, black and cyan.

As for the low-end and therefore more affordable Lumia 620, the device is reported not to be available until early next month in magenta, yellow, cyan, white and black colors. No pricing details have been disclosed yet, so stay tune, we’ll keep you updated as soon as the pending details arrive.

Got my 920 on Friday then headed off on a small weekend vacation where I got to play with my new phone quite a bit. Overall I love it- HOWEVER- I’m majorly disappointed with the camera. I don’t know if I just got a buggy phone or what, but the images are horrible compared to my iphone (which I gave up for this phone). I do professional photography and because of that I’m probably pickier than most, but my biggest gripes come from the comparison of what I’m getting from this phone vs the iphone. The compression seems extreme and the white balance is a mess on most my photos.
I discussed my problem with some other sites also but still didn’t get any suggestion. Anyone else disappointed with the images they are getting from the 920? Or any suggestions for me that what should I do???
