Nokia has officially announced that it will be on hand at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on opening day! The invitations to February 25th at 9am event have just been sent out, and the Finnish manufacturer unveiled a major press event, presumably revealing some new hardware and services for 2013.
Shocking the crowd by revealing the PureView 808 last year, with a jaw-dropping 41MP camera, the audience is almost sure Nokia won’t disappoint this year as well, doing the same but with Windows Phone this time.
As usual, rumors have already circulated, claiming the Finnish manufacturer will reveal at least one new ‘flagship’ Windows Phone but possible up to a few. However, we still haven’t heard if there will be a Lumia 720 yet. The high-end device will probably be ted to Verizon with another large camera sensor on board. This device is suggested to be codenamed as “Laser”, and we’ve already discussed the possible specs in one of our previous posts.
Similarly, AT&T might be getting one of the leading phones with an innovative aluminum body aka 'EOS'. Additional device, dubbed as ‘Catwalk’, could be one of many new Lumia phones for 2013 with a new, modernized design.
Furthermore, some more evidence and even a demonstration of Nokia Music+ is anticipated to be on hand, bringing music fans somewhat to cheer about.
To end with, let’s not ignore that Nokia is also alleged to be unveiling a new Windows 8 tablet of some sort. Bringing out a keyboard cover with built in lengthy battery, not much else is known about the gadget, so we don’t even know for sure that it exists. Stay tuned not to miss the excitement February 25th is about to bring!
